Types of keywords in SEO, according to user's point of view.
According to user point of view there are 3 types are keywords. They are - 1. Short tail keyword
2. Long tail keyword
and
3. Semantic Keyword.
Let's discuss-
1. Short tail keyword:- Short tail keyword is a keyword where the user makes a general query. For example - if a user searches only by typing "SHOES" in the search engine. That is his general query. Because if user search for 'shoes' , you will never understand that what he wants about shoes . That means it is a general query. So, when a user searches for something in the search engine for a general query, it is called a short tail keyword.
Another example is Digital marketing, if any one search only "Digital marketing" in search engine, it is a general keywords. Because we doesn't understand what information user wants related to digital marketing. It is a general query to gather some information about digital marketing.
2. Long tail keyword:- It is a more specific keyword. That is, if a user wants specific information about something, he will search for his specific query. For example - if a user searches the search engine - "Best running shoes for women" then this is a specific query. That is long tail keyword.
Another example is - "Digital Marketing Institute in Kolkata" This is a long tail keyword. Because in case of short tail keyword, we have seen that a user searches "digital marketing" for general query, there is no specific query. But here it is seen that the user searched for a digital marketing institute which are in Kolkata. This is a specific keyword, it is called a long tail keyword.
3. Semantic keyword:- it is a keyword that the user writes in his own language and searches. That is, the user queries in his own language, it is called Semantic Keyword. For example if any user searched in search engine like "How I promote my marketing in online", so, it's a Semantic Keyword. That means similar in meaning with original keyword.
